Please don't forget to include your name and start it with, "Do you remember when . . ." or "You may not remember this, but . . ."
I know these your story will be uplifting to Justin
Justin do you remember coming to visit in Vegas and I took you and Jovi to mini golf and to play video games? We played a game called Fruit Ninja where we sliced open the fruit with our hands and it was so much fun. Everytime I see that game somewhere I think of you guys π I love you buddy!
ReplyDeleteAbove from Heidi - I forgot to put in my name.
ReplyDeleteOne of my favorite trips each year was our annual ski trip to Utah to visit you and your family. I got to sleep in the basement and in the early years, every single morning, whether I liked it or not, I would wake up to the sound of your feet running around the living room, kicking your soccer ball. It was obvious then that you would be an extraordinary soccer player. To be honest, I would have loved to have slept in, but your little pitter patter feet never allowed for that. Yet now I t is one of my fondest memories of you. Year after year I watched you grow and mature as a soccer player. I look forward to seeing you back on the field shining brighter than ever.

From Mary Christensen: in addition to playing games at the kitchen table, watching your soccer games and generally hanging out and being a part of your family for Presidents’ Day weekend almost every year… My all-time favorite memory is attending your spelling bee! You worked so hard for so many days, preparing for that spelling bee, and you did an excellent job! You may not have heard all the comments that your mom and dad made, but they expressed so much Delight and respect for your commitment and hard work. They were and are so proud of you and everyone else the multi state group that comes to visit on Presidents’ Day weekend is so proud of you! Love you, Justin Dwight and I are praying for you. Love and prayers from Arizona.
ReplyDeleteDo you remember when you, Jacob, Keeler, and I went snowboarding for a day at Brighton? It was a ton of fun, and I'm glad we all survived. I am praying for your recovery right now and I know you got this! - Neal
ReplyDeleteDo you remember when (years ago - you were a little guy) Mark and I were visiting your family and you were playing on an indoor soccer team and we invited Justen Glad to come along to watch your game? I believe it was my sister Becky, Bill and Justen Glad as well as our whole family that came to cheer you on. You and your buddies were so excited to have our Justen there. It was such a sweet time together!
ReplyDeleteFrom Emma Casey: Do you remember when we filmed our propaganda video for U.S History at Kate's house? You and Jacob sat on her couch and read multiple Dr. Seuss stories to a fake baby we were using as a prop. It was both one of the funniest and sweetest things I had seen you two do.
ReplyDelete1. Sharing our Tigger's when a of visited Spirit Lake and Urbandale. We had "Kraft Mac& cheese" (since that was all you liked at that time)and watched Disney movies.
ReplyDelete2. Hanging out by the creek with you and Jovi by the creek while your parents taught Tyler and Jared how to rock climb. I think you were only 3 or 4 so you probably don't remember. You fell asleep in my arms and that was an amazing gift to me since I knew you trusted me.
3. Best of all you and your friend carried me out of the hike when we were at Dinosaur foot prints camping and diving of the cliff. You all saved my life that day and never made me feel embarrassed! Justin I love you so much and I am blessed to see you grow into an amazing and caring person.
remember the first time we tried to go river rafting and we lost my sandals the tube and I almost drowned.
ReplyDeleteThis I George. Hope you’re fine with me sharing this bro. First day of 2nd grade I’m standing outside in line waiting. Justin went to my line with Kim and didn’t want to let her go. Bro was crying and i was like who is this guy. Eventually we went in to our class and we got assigned to the same table of 4. The teacher always had us have kitty corner buddies and we were diagonal from eachother. From there we hit it off. Love you bro
ReplyDeleteHey this is Sophia. Remember when you me dheeraj and Sara went to the mall and were absolute hooligans? That was long ago but we should all do it again
ReplyDeleteremember when blud showed up to the first cfc practice and cried cuz it was too hard. also remember when we decided to reside in ohio π (calm down liberals, it’s called dark humor)
ReplyDeleteThis is Angela. I remember watching Justin's soccer skills improve right before our eyes. He got better every game. And that's because of his persistence, dedication, and grit practicing, drilling, and juggling on his own. What a great example for my son! Qualities that will serve him well in this next obstacle that he WILL overcome!
ReplyDeleteHi Justin, this is Robin Geddings. Praying for you every day. You don't remember this but I remember when you were 6 mo old and sitting up and Josh was sitting right next to you. A beautiful memory.
ReplyDeleteHi Justin, you're not going to remember this, but I remember it fondly. When I was helping care for you as a newborn, you loved the early mornings and were wide awake. You and I would hang out singing, talking, explore your new world, and cuddling so mom could sleep. Priceless memories. I still love early morning. Do you?
