Admitted to Primary's with a view of the parking lot = Tough buggers aka stupid bacteria 10/9/23 mid day

It was not pleasant returning to the ER and the hospital at Primary's but Justin didn't resist and the doctors said we did the right thing bringing him in.

One of the 1st doctors that stopped by was a surgeon who saw him the day after surgery. Happy with the progress he has made, in spite of being in the ER. Justin is apparently quite famous at Primary's. ♔

We were literally/actually sitting in the sun on Sunday, enjoying lunch and talking about what's next. What is Justin going to do on fall break? Which colleges is he applying to? Let's look at some scholarships. Why might he want to live out of state? How much does he remember or think about being in the hospital? (He doesn't dwell on it.)

His white blood cell count is elevated, meaning fighting an infection, and he has had fever and chills. Not really many other systems. There is a marker or test or something call CRP that indicates swelling in the body, and that was normal which means we brought him for treatment before he got worse. yea! They will be running a full spectrum test for other viruses And will test him for c-diff because he has a stomach ache today. The ultrasound showed the clot is gone from the jugular! yea! whew Thank You Jesus!

This is definitely not what we wanted or hoped but "it is what it is".

He just left finally to get the MRI. Will update later.

11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

People quote this verse a lot. But I don't want to forget about the rest that goes with it.

What is God saying to us, what he'll do for us. ❤️

4 This is what the Lord Almighty, the God of Israel, says to all those I carried into exile from Jerusalem to Babylon: “Build houses and settle down; plant gardens and eat what they produce. Marry and have sons and daughters; find wives for your sons and give your daughters in marriage, so that they too may have sons and daughters. Increase in number there; do not decrease. Also, seek the peace and prosperity of the city to which I have carried you into exile. Pray to the Lord for it, because if it prospers, you too will prosper.” Yes, this is what the Lord Almighty, the God of Israel, says: “Do not let the prophets and diviners among you deceive you. Do not listen to the dreams you encourage them to have. They are prophesying lies to you in my name. I have not sent them,” declares the Lord.

10 This is what the Lord says: “When seventy years are completed for Babylon, I will come to you and fulfill my good promise to bring you back to this place. 11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 12 Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. 14 I will be found by you,” declares the Lord, “and will bring you back from captivity.[b] I will gather you from all the nations and places where I have banished you,” declares the Lord, “and will bring you back to the place from which I carried you into exile.”
